Refund and Returns Policy

At Amrotech, customer satisfaction is a top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, in accordance with South African law and best business practices.
1. General Return Policy & Return Window
Return Period:
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
Conditions for Return:
Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
The item must be in the original packaging with all accessories included.
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return courier costs unless otherwise agreed in writing by Amrotech. Where the return is due to a confirmed defect, damaged-in-transit item, incorrect item, or error by Amrotech, Amrotech will cover the reasonable return courier cost.
In accordance with Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), if your purchase was made as a result of direct marketing, you have the right to cancel it within seven (7) business days of receipt — no penalty, no reason required. To initiate, email info@amrotech.co.za or call us with your order number.
How to Return an Item:
- Contact us at info@amrotech.co.za or 031 065 1069 with your order number and reason for return.
- We will confirm whether the return courier will be arranged by Amrotech or by the customer, depending on the reason for the return. We will then provide the correct return instructions and return address.
- Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
Refund Process:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days.
- Refunds will be made via the original payment method.
- Shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable.
For defective or damaged items, please contact us immediately for replacement arrangements at info@amrotech.co.za.
2. Defective or Damaged Products
Reporting Period: Notify us as soon as the defect is discovered by emailing info@amrotech.co.za or calling us on 031 065 1069.
Shipping: We will cover return shipping for defective or damaged products.
Resolution: If confirmed defective and within the warranty period, you may choose between a repair, replacement, or refund, in line with Section 56 of the CPA.
If damage is due to misuse or falls outside warranty terms, we cannot offer a refund or replacement. Return shipping will be at the customer’s expense.
3. Exchanges
If your item is eligible for exchange:
- We will aim to replace it with the same model and color.
- If unavailable, we may offer a close alternative or a product of equivalent value.
- For discontinued models, an equivalent alternative will be provided where possible.
4. Special Conditions
- Promotional Products: If purchased during a promotion, repair may be the only available option if the original offer is no longer valid.
5. Goods Damaged in Transit
- Upon Delivery: If the package appears damaged, please refuse delivery and note it with the courier.
- After Acceptance: If damage is noticed after delivery, please contact Amrotech as soon as possible with photos of the product, packaging, and courier label. Claims may require supporting evidence and will be assessed based on the available information.
